An antique 18k gold gypsy ring dating to 1907–08, set with a vivid ruby flanked by two old-cut diamonds, each nestled into a hand-cut star setting.

There’s something particularly good about the weight and simplicity of these old gypsy rings — substantial gold, low-set stones and just enough sparkle. Originally designed with stones sunk securely into the band for everyday wear, they’ve become one of those antique styles that somehow feels completely modern more than a century later.

The ruby brings the drama. The diamonds provide backup.

Made in Birmingham over 100 years ago and still very much going places.
