A little Edwardian romance, that still feels incredibly desirable 

Dating to 1907, this antique 18k gold gypsy ring features two rich rubies flanking a central diamond, each nestled into a beautifully hand-cut starburst setting.

Gypsy rings became fashionable in the late Victorian and Edwardian eras, when stones began to be set directly into substantial gold bands rather than raised above them in traditional claw settings. Designed to be worn rather than saved for best, their low-set stones and wonderfully solid feel made them the original everyday fine jewellery.

More than a century later, this one still looks radiant.  The combination of ruby, diamond and warm old gold feels wearable without being overly precious — wear alone or stack it up.
